The properpty is situated at the end of a private drive and is surrounded by our 4 acres of lawn and orchards with extensive open views of the peaceful surrounding open countryside.

For those who wish to explore, La Richardiere is well situated for visiting the many chateaux, vineyards and interesting towns and villages of the Loire.

All 4 cottages have been tastefully and sympathetically restored retaining many of the original features like oak beams in all rooms, hand made floor tiles in many rooms along with many exposed interior stone walls.  Integrated into all this old world charm are all the modern amenities required for a relaxing enjoyable holiday, including

Accommodation detail

La Fermette has been sympathetically refurbished.  All rooms have exposed beams.

Ground Floor

• Entry is through French doors into a large kitchen/dining room.  The luxury kitchen is fitted to the highest standard, with a 2.5m X 2m centre island breakfast bar housing the ceramic hob, indoor BBQ with overhead lighting and extraction, dish washer. Split-level oven and microwave. All units have granite work surfaces, there is also a American fridge/freezer/icemaker.
• The large lounge with log burner has been tastefully furnished and has satellite TV/DVD.
• Off the lounge is an ensuite twin bedded room.
• Stairs from lounge to mezzanine/landing, which can accommodate 2 extra beds.

First Floor

• Off the landing is the master bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite facilities.
• Off the ensuite is twin bedded room.
• Also off of the landing is a 2nd master bedroom with ensuite facilities with a full size bath and shower over, plus a dressing room.

Outside

Private patio area with garden furniture and seating 10 comfortably with a large charcoal BBQ.

About the location

We are about 45 minutes drive south of Tours and about 20 minutes south-west of Loches, with Le Grand Pressigny being our nearest town about a 10 minute drive away.

The small village of Le Petit Pressigny is about 2 miles away, which has a bakery, butcher, post office and certainly one of Europe's leading restaurants La Promenade owned by the infamous Jackie Dallais (2 Michelin stars). There are many other restaurants in the area cattering for all budgets.

How to get here

We are well served by daily flights into both Tours and Poiters as well as the fast TGV train from Paris to Tours (1hr 10 mins) and Paris to Poiters (1hr 30mins).

The excelant motorway network in France makes it an easy drive from most of the many ferry ports.
