Large converted Barn near Le Touquet

In the village of Saulchoy, the Barn is located in the pretty Valley d'Authie, part of the picturesque Sept Vallees (Seven Valleys) region, located near de Abbey Valloires and the Moulin at Maintenay.

The nearest towns are Le Touquet, the historic walled town of Montreuil-sur-Mer and Hesdin. This is probably the prettiest part of France within easy reach of the channel ports and favourite for holidays, short breaks and group activities in the North of France.

The 300 year old historic barn is converted into two gites, one large gite and one smaller gite, which can be let together or seperate, suitable for family and family get togethers, parties and group activities, like walking, cycling, drawing, painting horse riding & carriage etc...

The barns have an enclosed walled garden and secured parking area.

The barn has been converted into 4 star gite accommodation.

Laid out on two floors, it includes:

  • One twin bedroom
  • 2 Shower rooms
  • Large first floor lounge, with picture windows looking out across valley and UK satellite TV
  • Large dining area, which seats up to 12
  • Fully equipped kitchen, with range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and coffee machine
  • Wood burning stove

About Saulchoy in Pas-de-Calais, Nord Pas de Calais

The Barn is set within the village of Saulchoy, in the Val d'Authie (Authie Valley).

This part of the area known as the Sept Vallees (Seven Valleys) which, together with the coastline around Le Touquet, is by far the most attrative area, including the historic walled town of Montreuil-sur-Mer, within reasonable driving distance of the Channel Ports.

There are two good restaurants and boulangerie for fresh bread near by, golf, horse riding, walking, bike, and of course the beaches and night life of Le Touquet.

How To Get To Saulchoy in Pas-de-Calais, North East France

The Barn is a 40 minute drive from the tunnel.

From Calais and the Tunnel take the A16 autoroute west along the coast, signposted first for Boulogne and then Le Touquet. Exit at Payage 25 and take RN 39 signposted for Arras. Take the first exit in direction of Remy sous Bois. After entering the village turn right at the crosroad, signposted for Saulchoy.

On entering Saulchoy, pass the church and turn left at the main road in the centre of the village, signposted for Douriez. The Barn is on the left 500 metres from the junction and has a sign outside.

  • There is a minimum stay of seven nights in the peak season. At other times we accept bookings for the gites as a whole for four days or more, subject to availability.
  • We also offer Bed and Breakfast out of peak season for any length of stay from one night at £60 per double room.
