Home description
Beautifully renovated Gite in the heart of the Mayenne, in a town that has a market every Monday.
The gite has a modern kitchen, log burning stove, 2 very good sized bedrooms. It is very quiet although it is in the middle of a town. Only 40 mins drive to Le Mans. Surrounded by beautiful countryside.

This is a Barn built in 1730's which has been newly renovated.

About the location
This is a busy little town in the Mayenne. Local Bars and restaurants are 2 mins walk. There is a market every Monday until about 3pm. There is a local outdoor swimming pool only 5 mins walk away. There is also a man-made beach on a lake only 20 mins drive away, where you can swim and boat. There are also lots of bars and restaurants there. It is perfect for a day out for the whole family.
There is a very large supermarket within walking distance with everything that you might need for that perfect holiday.
The gite is situated in the heart of the town, with a local bar just around the corner, and another bar has a beautiful fountain just outside.
The city of Le Mans is only 40 mins drive away, this is one not to be missed.
The town of Alancon is great for a shopping trip and has a wonderful fresh food market on Saturdays. The nearest beach is about 2 hour drive away.

This is a 2 hour drive from the ferry port of Caen or 2hours 30 mins from Le Havre. It is easily accessible from any port. Just follow route west A13 to Alencon.
