About the location

Romeo and Juliet is set in the small hamlet of Chez Javelle near to Villebois Lavalette in the Charente and La Rochebeaucourt in the Dordogne. For bars and restaurants, Brantome and Angouleme are about 25 minutes away.

For a day at the coast, Royan and La Rochelle are 1 & 1/2 and 2 hours away as are Cognac, Bordeaux and Perigeaux.

With markets almost every day, it's an Ideal location for relaxing, sight seeing and house hunting!

How to get here

You will find us on the Charente/Dordogne border near La Rochebeaucourt, just off the D939.

Closest airport is Angouleme, which is 30minutes away and is seviced by Ryan Air. Limoges, Poitiers, and Bergerac are all one and a half hours away.
