Lou Cagnard(pronounced 'Loo Kenyard') is provençal for 'a sunny place' and this aptly describes this small villa which is full of bright provinçal light all the day and all the year round.

• Large terrace - just outside the sitting room veranda doors where it is a joy to eat out and enjoy the views and peace of the immediate coutryside

• Bedroom 1 has double bed, separate bedside tables and reading lamps, hanging cupboard and shelves
• Bedroom 2 has two single beds, bedside table and lamp and hanging cupboard

About the location

• The property is on the edge of farmland and commands a wonderful view of Mont Ventoux looking across a plain of vineyards, cherry orchards and olive groves.   Bedoin is only 1 km away and is a very animated village, especially in summer, with its famous Monday-morning provençal market and many sporting activities throughout the season.  It is reputed to have at least 20 restaurants!  The cathedral town of  Carpentras  is 15 kms away and the Papal city of Avignon just 40 mins.
• This area is reknown as one of the most beautiful in Provence which makes it very appealing to artists and photographers. The foothills of  Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail are scattered with charming hill top towns and ochre villages.  
• The area is famous for its Cotes du Rhone and Cote du Ventoux wines and discovering new wines and new places to eat is one of the great pleasures of this region. 
• The villa is ideally placed for hiking or walking on Mont Ventoux and Bedoin is a centre for mountain biking and cycling.
