Our property is located in the heart of historical and cultural vendee area. In an ideal position to visit either the sea side or the famous town of Puy du Fou. It is just half an hour south of Nantes main town of Britany region. Please visit us to discover the history of the chateau where the owners live.

Chateau du Breuil is very easy to get to by motorway (from A83/A87). It is an excellent base for exploring the sites and attractions of the Vendée.

Longere is a charming self catering rental cottage closed to the chateau and with access to the park.

Accommodation comprises:

Ground floor

• Kitchen - large room, equipped with all comfort needed: dishes machine, washing machine, microwave, electrical oven, toaster.
• Living /dining room - 70m²

First floor

• Bedroom 1 - with double bed and ensuite
• Bedroom 2 - with single bed and ensuite
• Bedroom 3 - this is a suite of 2 rooms for 2 people with bathroom and toilet.

Outside

Garden furniture, barbecue and private area.

About the location

Chateau du Breuil is less than forty minutes away from the superb coastline. Visit La Chabotterie, with its château, museum and park, and the historical theme park and Son et Lumiere spectacle at Le Puy du Fou, both excellent family days out (tickets can be pre-booked via the owner).

A little further afield, the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice), and the old port of La Rochelle, are well worth exploring, while closer to home, the leafy lanes around the château are good cycling terrain, with mountain bike hire available on site.

Just 10 minutes walking to other village you find all sorts of shops and small market and bigger one 5 kms with restaurants

How to get here

• From the A 83/E03 Nantes-Bordeaux motorway -which becomes a dual carriageway (D763) at Montaigu (Boufféré)- continue towards La Roche-s/Yon, taking the exit for St-Denis-la-Chevasse.
• From the "Les Essarts" exit on the A 83/E03 motorway (Nantes-Bordeaux) (A87 Paris-La Roche-s/Yon), drive towards Boulogne/St-Denis-la-Chevasse.
• The high-speed Paris-Nantes TGV train takes 2 hours.
