Enjoy our lovingly restored, pristine town house - 'Maison de Ville' in Lezignan Corbières. It is comfortable, spacious, light and airy in a small, quiet cul-de-sac.

On the ground floor our house consists of:

• Porch
• Entrance hall
• Cloakroom with WC and built-in cupboard
• Open-plan lounge/dining room beamed with a breakfast bar.
• Kitchen area has an eye level oven, dishwasher, washing machine, ample storage, work surface space

On the first floor we have:

• Master bedroom with new queen size bed, walk-in dressing room, wardrobe, en suite bathroom - new white bath, vanitory unit, WC.
• Second bedroom has a double bed, its own en suite shower room - new white shower cubicle, vanitory unit, WC
• South facing balcony

Both bedrooms have air conditioning units that can also be set to heat.

On the top floor there is:

• Open-plan room with sloping ceiling, part is a bedroom with 2 single beds and part is our pièce de résistance - the solarium. The solarium has a custom-made, electrically operated sliding roof, 2m x 2.50m, which makes it a perfect, sheltered sun room.

Our house is extremely well equipped, comfortably furnished and is ideal for 4 adults seeking a civilised base for exploring Cathar country! We have DVD player and tv which gives you some channels in English.

About the location

Lezignan is a much sought-after small market town with all amenities - weekly market, excellent choice of cafes and restaurants, numerous super/hyper markets and 6 boulangerie

Our house is ideally situated between Narbonne and Carcassonne, on the main line railway station and perfectly located for exploring the Canal du Midi, Cathar country with its numerous abbeys and churches, the seaside at Narbonne Plage and the Pyrenees.

We are about an hour and a half's drive to the Spanish border. 

Lezignan is also in the heart of the wine producing area - we know many exciting places to recommend to buy your Corbière and Minervois wines.

How to get here

The star attraction for this property is that you can take the TGV to Narbonne and use the local Narbonne to Carcassonne railway to Lezignan Corbières and you are 10 minutes walk to our house.    

Carcassonne airport 30 minutes drive.
