French farmhouse holiday home from circa 1700 with second edition added in the 1800's. It is situated on nearly 8 acres of ground with secured garden and beautiful scenery. The property is located in the l'Orne area in Normandy offering lots to see and do. The house consists of 7 bedrooms and it can house 16 people comfortably.

Accommodation detail

The first part off this farmhouse was built in the 1700’s and added to in the 1800’s, surrounded by beautiful scenery & nearby stream. The enclosed garden is ideal for small children. The property also offers plenty of parking to both front & back.

The accommodation comprises:

• Lounge - a good size room with a lovely wood burner, cable TV.
• Kitchen/Diner - a lovely large room with good size kitchen and dinning room which seats approx 10 people. A high chair is available.
• Small entrance hallway area with a toilet.

Self Contained Studio on Ground Floor

• Studio room - with a double bed with en-suite bathroom and toilet, the chaise longue can be used as a childs bed. There is a kitchenette, small cooker and fridge, folding table and chairs.

Door to the rear garden.

Attic level

• Bedroom one - this room is oak beamed and it has a double and single bed with shower and wash basin facilities. Views overlooking the beautiful valley.
• Bedroom two - this room is oak beamed and it has a double and single bed plus a Mama's and Papa's cot. Shower and wash basin facilities provided. Again views overlooking the beautiful valley.

Second floor

• Bedroom three - with a double bed, shower and wash basin facilities.
• Bedroom four - with a double bed & cot
• Bedroom five - with a single bed. 
• Bedroom six - with a single bed plus a settee which can be made up into a single bed.

Outside:

• Front and back garden
• BBQ mobile unit
• Please find a gas bottle BBQ unit in garage, together with large umberella and small canapy 
• Another patio table and chairs are available in small out building near the studio room.

• There is also a 10' inflatable  pool for those hot afternoons together with many outdoor games eg: badminton, football, volley ball. etc

Some essential consumables (not perishables) will be available, which you are welcome to use, however, we ask you to replace what you do use. There are also games and children's videos available for your use.

About the location

Gace town is approximately 8 minutes away, with large museum and a market on Saturday afternoons. It has also five petrol stations and three supermarkets.

Le Haras National Du Pin, a large nation stud farm is approximatly 30 minutes away. There is a demonstration on Thursdays.

Camembert cheese museum.

I'Aigle - the largest market on Tuesday mornings.

Paris is approximatly 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

Hornflur is nearby and it is a very pictureesque town.

War memorials, museum and beaches.

Various festivals at different times of the years.
