Two traditional barns that have been recently converted to provide generous and comfortable accommodation sleeping 10 and 6 all with en-suite bathrooms. Each have their own gardens, private patio and barbecues and the use of the heated outdoor pool, it is an ideal location for a family holiday.

Keryvon is situated in central Brittany at the end of our own private drive, in the Department of Côtes d'Armor, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, peace and tranquillity close to the village of Saint Guen.

The Longere is a large comfortable and spacious converted barn, is on 2 floors and comes very well equipped.

Ground floor

• Kitchen area - is fully equipped with modern units, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and conventional oven, fridge, toaster etc. With plenty of space for a kitchen table and chairs it is perfect for the informal breakfast and for use by the younger members. We also make sure that you have those little extras like a mixer/blender, garlic press, whisk and Tupperware containers.
• Lounge / dining room - spacious living areas (open plan but separated) dining room with table and chairs for 10 and the lounge with its wood burning fireplace. The tiled floors throughout provide easy to clean elegance.
• Double bedroom - with en-suite bathroom. These have no steps which, with that little extra space, make this room ideal for the less agile.

First floor

• Four bedrooms - all en-suite and this area also incorporates a tower with panoramic views. 2 of the bedrooms have twin beds and the other 2 have doubles with space for a cot if required. All have comfortable English divans and quality bedding.

The Grounds

There is plenty of space to play or just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

Our 12m x 6m heated swimming pool is shared with The Barn and overlooks the countryside and is in full sunshine for the whole day, and with sun loungers for all, the perfect spot for soaking up the rays. The pool water is kept sparkling clean using modern chlorine-free methods that not only ensures that micro-organisms are destroyed effectively but that the water is gentle on the skin and eyes and feels fresh and clean every time you use it. The shallow end is flat and ideal for the children with the deep end sloping to 2m. For safety, the pool area is enclosed and children are not allowed to use the pool area unaccompanied.

Keryvon is situated in central Brittany, in the Department of Côtes d'Armor, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, peace and tranquillity close to the village of Saint Guen.

Nearby is the small town of Mur-de-Bretagne that borders the Lac Guerledan, known locally as 'little Canada' for its lovely scenery. At the lake you will find safe sandy beaches, tennis courts, restaurants, mini golf and children's play areas.

With the larger towns of Pontivy and Loudeac both within a 15 minutes drive away, there is an excellent selection of restaurants, shops, banks and well stocked supermarkets. Forests, lakes, rivers and the beautiful Nantes to Brest canal are within close proximity.

How to get here

• Brittany Ferries operate between Portsmouth and Plymouth to the ports of St Malo. Cherbourg or Roscoff.
• St Malo to Keryvon takes approx. one hour 20 minutes.
• Nearest airport is Dinard with daily Ryanair flights from Stansted.
• Car-hire available at the airport
