Set amongst green oak, olive and pine trees Le Sansonett is a beautifully restored and peaceful mask with swimming pool and garden. This charming house has many original features, including beams, shutters, old French windows and stripped wooden doors. The house is decorated throughout in a simple French old-fashioned rural style.

It provides:

• Large well equipped kitchen with antique farm house dining table
• Very comfortable living room with fireplace
• Three delightful double bedrooms
• One ensuite
• Two further bathrooms with showers

The gardens to the front and side of the house provide several different picturesque dining areas for different times of the day; beneath the shade of rose bowers and Virginia creeper. There are sun traps and chairs set around the pool, which is a recent addition to the garden. This is the private property of the house and is alarmed.

About the location

Le Sansonnet is set just outside the beautiful village of Bedoin and nestles at the foot of the famous 'giant', Le Mont Ventoux. Set amongst oak and olive trees, the house is surrounded by open space with stunning views of the mountain. The village is a mere ten minutes walk and as the gateway to the Mont Ventoux is a lively place with a large market on Monday, many restaurants and bars, minigolf, supermarkets, and a choice of delicious bakeries. This is an ideal place from which to explore the many famous vineyards and markets of Provence, (Chateau Neuf Du Pape, Beaumes de Venise, Gigondas, Vacqueras are all a short drive). There are also the many famous Roman remains, as well as the unforgettable Mont Ventoux itself.

How to get here

From Marseille: Take the A7 towards Avignon.Leave A7 at junction 23 and follow D942 to Carpentras. Go through Carpentras and follow signs Mont Ventoux and Bedoin( D974). Keep on this road until you come to a turning on left to Crillon Le Brave ( it is spelt out on a large rock on left). Follow this road until you reach a T- junction. Turn right and follow road around a bend take first gravel track on left this is the drive to Le Sansonnet.
