Home description

Les Artigaux is set in private grounds with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The accommodation consists of a converted barn and 4 recently created apartments. The accommodation is very comfortable and extremely well equipped and is a perfect base to explore this beautiful area. There are great opportunities for cycling, walking, skiing, paragliding, horse riding and many other activities. If you are looking for something less energetic why not try the local spas or our own hot tub and sauna.

Les Artigaux is set in 10 acres of private grounds, which guests are free to explore and which is a great playground for children. We have recently installed a Scandinavian hot tub, which is a wonderful way to relax after the day’s activities. A brand new sauna will shortly be in operation to further enhance the relaxing experience.

La Grange is a converted barn featuring exposed beams.

Outside

There is a private garden area with a swinging seat, table, chairs and a barbecue where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

Attached to La Grange is a games room with table tennis, darts and table football, which is for the exclusive use of La Grange when occupied.

About the location

Les Artigaux is situated just above the picturesque village of Arrens-Marsous in the beautiful Val d'Azun. The village has a number of shops such as a bakery, butcher, local products shop, newsagent, pharmacy and a small supermarket. There are also several restaurants locally. In the months of July and August there is a very popular Sunday market. The larger market town of Argeles-Gazost is 12km away and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Further afield is the famous pilgrim destination of Lourdes and Tarbes and Pau are within easy reach.

How to get here

Arrens is about 40km from junction 12 of the A64 motorway at Tarbes. The nearest ferry ports are Bilbao and Santander in Spain, followed by St.Malo. There are scheduled flights from the UK to Pau, Toulouse and Biarritz airports. There are also some charter flights to Tarbes/Lourdes airport. TGV train services run to Lourdes from Paris. It is possible to hire cars at all airports and Lourdes station.
