Lovely traditional Normandy granite farmhouse in tiny hamlet. Very peaceful and relaxing location ideal for couples or families. Pretty, enclosed level garden great for games, eating outside and barbecue's, and a further 10 acres of grounds to lose yourself in - including meadows, beech woodlands perfect for picnics, our own hill 'Le Rocher'.

La Martiniere is a haven for wildlife from hares and deer to buzzards and our very own resident owl. Not far from a very pretty village with excellent auberge, tabac, bakery and mini-market, and just 5 minutes from the bustling market town of Vire with fantastic shops, large supermarket, and wonderful Friday morning traditional French market.

It is a great location to visit all the main Normandy attractions, from the Mont St Michel, to the Normandy Landing Beaches, the National Park, Bayeux, etc.

About the location

Tiny rural hamlet with just two other properties close to a pretty village with auberge, bakery, bar and mini-market. Very peaceful and relaxing but within 5 mins drive of the bustling market town of Vire with fantastic water park, super shops, busy market, bars, theatre and nightlife.

Loads to do nearby, with aquapark with pool and slides at Vire, boating and activities at Lake Dathee and walks and visitor attractions at St Sever forest just 5 mins away. Great location for visiting all the Normandy attractions such as the landing beaches, Mont St Michel, coast all within about an hour's drive.
