There are 2 super outside dining areas, one just outside the summer room doors and the other next to the pool, both are quiet and relaxing places to take your meal and have barbecue's.

The walled garden allows those with little ones to be safely contained and they cannot access the pool as there is a newly installed security fencing around the whole area.

La Colombe is a sympathetically restored 3 storey farmhouse set on the edge of a quiet hamlet. The bedrooms are individual, very comfortable and spacious and all incorporate the pared back French style that runs through the whole house.

Ground floor

• Kitchen / dining room - a spacious open room with a welcoming stripped pine table with windsor back chairs around it, you will spend hours and hours in this lovely room, dining, chatting, relaxing.

First floor

• Sitting room - with comfy sofa's for watching TV or listening to music, the wood burner is here for those cooler months.
• Bedroom 1 - double bedroom with en-suite
• Bedroom 2 - twin bedroom with en-suite

Second floor

• Bedroom 3 - double bedroom
• Bedroom 4 - twin bedroom
• Shower room

Outside

The outside space is quite lovely, to the rear of the property is a walled garden and this extends out through gates onto a larger grass and shingle space, the fully enclosed pool area and a newly constructed outside dining room if you can bear to leave the kitchen!

About the location

Set on the very edge of a small and peaceful hamlet, La Colombe has gently undulating views accross the vineyards and hills to the rear of the property. Just 10 minutes from the centre of the stunning Bastide town of Cordes sur Ciel or 15 minutes to Gaillac or Albi for a huge variety of shops and restaurants.

With a local established winemaker as your neighbour you are 10 paces away from a bottle of wine!

Half and hour brings you to canoeing at St Antonin Noble Val, an invigorating experience that is fun for all ages, or horse riding at nearby Vieux.

A 2 hour drive takes you to the coast.

How to get here

This beautiful part of France is approx 9hrs drive from Calais.

The easiest airport to reach is Toulouse with regular twice daily flights with Easyjet or British Aiways (3 times in Summer) or from Rodez with Ryanair once each day. Both airports are c.1 1/4 hours drive away.
