Newly equipped independent cottage, comfort guaranteed. Very quiet countryside area for a relaxing holiday. Lovely views around. For 6 people with 3 bedrooms, good quality mattresses. Situated in a lovely region at the limit of the Charente and the Dordogne, in the "green" Perigord, the cottage has its own private secured pool and garden. The village of St Séverin is nearby (600 m), with all shops, bank, post office, pubs and restaurants.

5 minutes drive to the Golf course. 10 minutes from Aubeterre sur Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages of France.

Many places to visit on the picturesque Dronne Valley like Brantome, grotte de Villars, Bourdeilles etc...

About St Severin in Dordogne, Aquitaine

Near the picturesque village of Aubeterre sur Dronne. St Severin (600m from the cottage) is a village in the "green" Perigord with all facilities, pubs, restaurant, small supermarket, baker, chemist, post office, doctors, etc... From the cottage you can walk to the village.

It is also situated near the small town of Ribérac (10min by car). In the area you can find tiny country lanes with practically no traffic to go for a bicycle ride, as well as large sand beaches at Lake Jemaye and at the river in Aubeterre, both easy to park with plenty of space to sunbathe.

Beautiful villages to visit nearby, such as Brantôme, Aubeterre (designated one of the most beautiful villages in France), St Jean de Côle ... All with pubs, fine restaurants and entertainment in the evening. Prehistoric caves with paintings (Grottes de Villars).

Huge typical French market in Ribérac on Friday.
