Relax at Aquitaine Gites in France by our 12m x 6m swimming pool which uses a chlorine free Ultra Violet treatment system. There are several decked area with views over the river and the occasional river boat or rower. We have plenty of room for you to enjoy our on site activities including badminton, table tennis, boules or the shaded children's play area. 

There are plenty of activities within easy reach of Aquitaine Gites in France including the more relaxing fishing, horse riding, golf, ballooning or the evening markets with free entertainment. If you feel more energetic why not try canoeing, kayaking, hover boats, cycling, go-karting , tennis, the tree top park or the water theme park. The more adventurous amongst you may like to try micro lighting, with flights available over Aquitaine Gites in France.

Those interested in local food and wine can visit local vineyards and a variety of working farms with the opportunity to try their produce. If you prefer the market to the farm, there are a number of town or village farmers markets throughout the week. 

Security and child safety at Aquitaine Gites in France is provided by

  • a 1.2m fence around the swimming pool with security gate access
  • fenced river bank protection with security gate for controlled access

Private and easy access 

  • 2 bedrooms - one bedroom can be arranged as either a double or twin room. The larger bedroom can be arranged as either a double, a twin or a childrens room with a single bed and a bunkbed sleeping a total of three. 
  • 1 bathroom - consists of a bath with shower, handbasin and shaver point.
  • Separate toilet - toilet with handbasin and shaver point.
  • Kitchen/lounge/diner - fully equipped kitchen including oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tall fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The Dining area has a table and 4 chairs (2 additional chairs from the bedrooms). The lounge has a three and two seater sofa, 2 coffee tables, two standard lamps, satellite TV (with radio), a DVD player and a selection of board games.

Heating is provided by electric wall mounted heaters

Outside

Shared 1 acre of landscaped gardens with a dedicated area split between decking and gravel with garden table and 4 chairs and a Weber BBQ for this apartment. There is also allocated parking. 

The fenced and shared 12m x 6m swimming pool with a chlorine free ultra violet treatment system is open between mid May and October . Accessed by security gate.

Aquitaine Gites in France is located in the beautiful Lot Valley in the Lot et Garonne department in the south west of France.

The apartments are situated in landscaped gardens on the bank of the river Lot, in a rural setting, just 5km from the town of Villeneuve sur Lot. Local places of interest include Pujols, Penne D'Agenais, Nerac and several riverside Bastide towns.

Additional price information

Winter lets are available between 1st October 2011 and 29th June 2012 with rates of £375 (€430) per month plus metered electricity at cost price for the months of OCtober to April and £600 (€690) plus metered electricity for May and June. 

Weekend rates (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) are available in April from £125 (€145). 

Prices include linen, bath towels, pool towels and a welcome pack (summer rentals). Fresh linen will be provided each Saturday for those staying more than one week (summer rentals). 

Payments are preferred in € Euros but will be accepted in £ Sterling and may be made by cheque or bank transfer. 

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance falling due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

A £125 or €150 security deposit will be required on arrival which will be returned within 7 days of your departure as long as there is no damage to the property or contents (including towels) and the apartment is left in the same condition as on arrival.  

Changeover day for peak summer is Saturday arriving after 4p.m. and leaving before 10a.m. We are flexible on changeover days for other periods.
