La Julinie is a lovely old character cottage situated at the end of a small country lane in a setting of complete peace, tranquillity and seclusion - yet less than 10 minutes drive from the medieval market town of Entraygues, with all its facilities.

The totally secluded property is in a very sheltered sunny position and has a large southwest-facing terrace with dining table and chairs adjacent to the pool.

20-acres of natural fields and woodlands surround the property for interesting exploration and include a secret valley with waterfalls which have become a haven for wildlife including deer, and even wild boar, whilst red kites, woodpeckers, tree creepers and nightingales can often be seen and heard.

• 3 bedrooms, all with glorious valley views, sleeps 8 with two double bedrooms and one bedroom with 2 single beds and two bunk beds (bed linen and towels are provided).

Outside there is ample parking.

About the location

Golinach is 3 miles further up the hill. There is a local shop for bread and croissants together with a very nice Auberge and is the centre for walkers to congregate.
