About the location

"Belle-Baud" is situated within beautiful countryside yet is just a 5 minute drive from the centre of the enchanting market town of Baud with excellent amenities including fine restaurants, bars, shops (2 excellent patisseries) and supermarkets. It has a good indoor swimming pool plus there are horse riding, tennis and go-carting facilities nearby.

The vast Forest of Camors with its numerous walks and cycle paths is minutes away. The beautiful Blavet valley can be accessed within 10 minutes.

The stunning Gulf of Morbihan with its fabulous sandy beaches and coastline (numerous boat trips to the islands) is reachable in 30 minutes.

The historic towns of Pontivy and Josselin are 20-30 minutes away and the fascinating medieval town of Vannes is a pleasant 30 minute drive.

How to get here

The town of Baud is nestled within the picturesque Blavet and Etel valleys approximately half way between Pontivy and Auray on the D768. Baud is also positioned just off the main N24 expressway linking Rennes with Lorient. 

"Belle-Baud" itself is situated just outside of Baud with quick access to the D768. Low-cost operators (Ryanair) fly to Dinard (1.5 hrs) and Nantes (1.5 hrs). The port of St Malo (Brittany Ferries) is 2 hours away: Caen (Ouisteham) is approx 2.5-3 hrs by car.

The town of Auray (25 mins) is accessible by TGV (train). A car is essential to fully explore this fascinating region.
