Pretty Self Catering Gite

Cavron St Martin Gite is a well equipped and self contained three bedroom gite, with a garden overlooking rolling countryside. Located in a pretty village only a few minutes drive from the beautiful and bustling market town of Hesdin. There are lovely sandy beaches (Le Touquet & Berck), together with theme parks, golf courses and historical sites within easy reach.

Cavron St Martin Gite is ideal for families and accommodate 6-8 people. The gite has a kitchen, lounge with a wood burning fire, twin bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a en-suite bedroom and a bunk room with a separate shower room. During the cooler months (October to April), the gîte is fully heated to keep them warm and cosy for guests.

Holiday Accommodation at Cavron St Martin Gite

The gite consists of

Ground Floor

• Entrance hall with hangers for coats
• Lounge with wood burning fire, television/ DVD player and CD radio, with French doors opening onto large veranda where there is an additional table and seating.
• The kitchen with a 4 ring gas burner and oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and kettle.
• Bathroom Bath with hand basin and separate toilet. Washing machine.
• Twin room with further storage and space for an additional bed/cot.

First floor

• One double room with en suite and storage
• Bunk room with further storage with separate shower room.

Outside:

• The gîte has its own private outdoor dining area equipped with a garden table and chairs. There is a barbecue, and a children's swing. There is ample parking space for guests' cars in front of the gîte.

About Cavron St Martin in Pas-de-Calais, Nord Pas de Calais

The Seven Valleys area around Cavron St Martin Gîte is little known by tourists - the villages have retained their traditional rural characters, and the countryside is relaxing, calm and peaceful. The excellent roads and railways make this a very easy area for visitors to explore.

The local village, Cavron St Martin, is surrounded by rolling hills and open fields .Within the village there is popular restuarant  and also a unique bar, serving beers from around the world and you can try your hand at the 'old fashioned' wooden bar games.

The market town of Hesdin is just five minutes from Cavron St Martin Gîte. It is a pretty town with ancient houses, narrow cobbled streets and historic monuments. Built on the banks of the River Canche, many of the buildings date back to the 16th century when the town was originally founded. Hesdin has two supermarkets and a range of shops, boutiques, restaurants and pavement cafés. Its weekly market (every Thursday morning) is a delight.

The town of Montreuil (20 minutes) is famous for its connection with Victor Hugo and a version of "Les Miserables" is performed every summer at the foot of the town's citadel. During the First World War, Montreuil became the headquarters of Field Marshall Haig. The town has a colourful weekly market selling fresh regional produce - cheese, meat, bread, fruit and vegetables - as well as clothes, textiles and household goods.

How To Get To Cavron St Martin in Pas-de-Calais, North East France

Take the A16 from Calais direction Boulogne continuing to junction 26 signposted Le Touquet. After road toll (Approx 2.60 euros) take the N39 direction Montreuil (exit on roundabout), keep on this road following signs to Hesdin. At Hesdin take D928 direction St Omer for approximately 4 miles, through the forest. At the crossroads take the left hand road towards La Loge. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile and at the crossroads turn right and then very immediate first left.
