La Beauconniere is a charming and characterful farmhouse B&B with on-site horse and pony riding, cycling and walking, set on 13 acres between the Elle and Vire river valleys, in the heart of the Normandy countryside.

La Beauconniere is a beautifully presented 15th century farmhouse consisting of 5 charming and characterful en-suite rooms, including two suites. All of the rooms are elegantly furnished and have modern bathrooms.
The dining room is always available for guests' use and has UK satellite TV.
The house sits in the middle of 13 acres and is on the opposite side of the courtyard to the owners' home. There are three lovely and secluded gardens available for picnics, play, or simply to relax in, and there are many beautiful old shade trees.

About the location
La Beauconniere is situated in the heart of the countryside on the edge of the dairy farming village of Lamberville, which is approximately mid way between the D-Day landing beaches and Mont St. Michel. The towns of Torigni-sur-Vire and Caumont L'Evente are just 10 minutes away, St. Lo and Cerisy La Foret are 15 minutes away, and Caen is 45 minutes from here. The beautiful old city of Bayeux is under 30 minutes away. The area immediately surrounding the house is very calm and peaceful, containing lots of quiet lanes and chemins for horse riding, walking and cycling.
There are many restaurants, offering both casual and fine dining, within 10 minutes of the house.
