Mountain Break is a luxury chalet set within a newly converted 100 year old Savoyarde farmhouse. It has been sympathetically and meticulously renovated. We have kept much of the original framework and used materials to complement the stunning building. Space was a key priority for us, so all the bedrooms are all ensuite with full sized baths and are luxuriously finished.

The 1st floor has underfloor heating throughout whereas the rest of the chalet is heated by radiators. In addition there are 2 beautiful woodburners for cool evenings.

Ground floor

• Superb kitchen - with granite worksurfaces, range oven, American fridge, dishwasher and many other electric appliances.
• Dining room - huge area which seats 15 in comfort.

First floor

• Living room - a large double height living room with oak staricases running open plan down to the dining room and up to the family suites on the mezzanine.  

Mezzanine

• 6 double ensuite bedrooms - two bedrooms have free-standing Villeroy and Boch baths positioned in the bedrooms as well as walk in shower rooms.

Outside

There are extensive gardens and parking. Heated hot tub and outdoor dining area complete with barbecue. The property is fenced and gated to give a peace of mind to parents with children.

About the location

5 minutes drive from Morzine and the slopes of the Portes du Soleil. Ardent is 5 minutes drive that gives direct access into the Avoriaz ski domain in the winter, and to the village of Les Lindarets and Lac Montriond in the summer.

Morzine valley is a year round holiday centre and offers a huge choice of activities - right on our doorstep. The walk to the centre of our pretty village is 5 minutes, with access to bars, restaurants and shops - and Morzine is a 20 minute delightful walk (or 10 mins on the bike/ 5 mins in the car) along the river path and through meadows and woodland. En-route to Morzine is a stunning outdoor swimming pool complex, pony riding, tree adventure park and the indoor ice skating rink. Also, Tennis, skate park and football are in the immediate area.

The area is a mecca for mountain biking and frequently holds the World Championships - many of the ski lifts are adapted in the summer to take bikes to the summits. Lac Montriond is stunning all year round, for walking, ski de fond, swimming and canoeing. There is a separate children's dipping lake and beach, restaurants, pony riding, kids 4 x 4 track and fishing.
