Home description

The cottages, which have just been fully renovated, stand in the middle of 300 hectares of gardens and mountains with scenic views. They include parking facilities, an aeroplane runway where small private planes can land and also a helicopter landing area.

From May, the whole property is surrounded by wild flowers and birds. There is rich wildlife and some protected species can be observed. The presence of several streams will make your stay and all your walks magical. There are 22km of private pathways which can be found around the property or, if you wish, you could possibly climb to Le Bec Pointu at 1342m.

The river La Gervanne, approximately 5km away offers the opportunity to take refreshing swims, while the village Beaufort sur Gervanne, with its typical stone houses situated on the top of the hill, will delight you. Further away, at only 22km, the small city of Crest, with a market and organic boutiques which will offer you pleasant local shopping. Die will also offer you the same facilities and local charms.

This house which has been fully renovated this spring offers luxurious rooms decorated from a provinçal inspiration. All the furniture in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are new.

Ground floor:

• Bedroom with one double bed with ensuite bathroom including shower, toilet and basin
• Open plan living room and fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, ironing facilities and washing machine

First floor: 

• Bedroom with two beds which can be arranged as a double or single bed as wanted. The room also has a basin
• Bedroom with a single bed
• Bathroom with shower and basin
• Toilet

Outside

• Gardens, hills, walks, streams, donkeys in their enclosure will make your stay very pleasant.
• Two small ponds offer you the opportunity to fish and if successful, eat fresh fish.
• Hammocks and outside tables are also available at the property for you to fully enjoy your natural surroundings.
• You can follow a path to climb up the highest mountain or just walk around the property.

Additional information:

Cots can be made available on request cleaning and baby sitting can be arranged possibility of ordering prepared organic meals, oriental massage (Ayurvedi, Californian, Thai..) can be arranged on site.

About the location

Beaufort sur Gervanne is very typical village built in the 12th century following the "village perché" architecture, where a castle settles on the top of a hill and all the surrounding houses are built around it to protect it. This kind of architecture offers scenic views and bring you back in time... In the centre of the village you will find very typical bars and a few restaurants in and around Beaufort.

The area has been a pioneer in the development of organic products and food and all along the roads you are able to stop to one of the many farms to buy fresh fruits, local cheeses, lavender and olive oil. Beaufort also has its own essential oils factory where you can get to know oils better.

Crest and Die offer all the commodities of a town with large typical markets, supermarkets, cinemas, internet access, little shops, pharmacies, medical assistance and much more.
