Home description

We welcome large parties and family groups to the Ferme Europeenne.

Enjoy our fabulous, traditional Normandy buildings restored to a high architectural standard and retaining all the character you would expect with the comfort of modern bathrooms. 

It's a haven for children as the farm animals include a pig, a goat, sheep, ducks, chickens, geese horses, rabbits, cats, kittens, dogs and cows ... as well as the wild deer and boars in the forest and the hedgehogs around the pond at sunset!

We have 9 acres of woodland, a Nature Reserve for plants and birds and the farm is set on 74 acres of land and offered for weekly rental during August.

Two beautiful self contained, fully equipped cottages.

Each cottage was designed in the authentic Norman style and they all have a large living room and a kitchen with a large open fireplace as a focal point.

Each cottage contains bedrooms and modern bathrooms.

There is also a spacious room which can be used as a workshop or studio.

About the location

The farm is located in the village of Grandcourt (300 inhabitants). Grandcourt is in Upper Normandy in the "Pays de Bray", at the heart of the Yères Valley (about 20 kilometres from the English Channel). 

This lovely valley has long been known as an area of outstanding natural beauty. In 1996, it was recognised as such by the Ministry for the Environment. Nature lovers continue to enjoy and explore the Yères Valley.

How to get here

Coming to the Farm is very easy !
We are 2 hours from Paris and the nearest airport is the Beauvais Ryanair airport, 1 hour away by car.

We are at a 30 minutes drive from Dieppe (on the Channel's coast) where you can take the Transmanche ferry lines Newhaven-Dieppe; and it's only a 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Calais where you can cross the Channel either by ferry or by Eurostar.
