Le Moulin de Parcoul is based on a private Island, reached by its own bridge. The character house has recently been restored by the owners and offers spacious, tastefully furnished, well equipped accommodation with private swimming pool and garden. It is situated in a very quiet area with views over woodland.

Situated 15 kms from a small peaceful village yet close to amenities, and classified "one of the most beautiful village of France", offering a castle, monolithic church, river beach, golf, ...  

Le Moulin de Parcoul is a perfect base for vineyards expeditions to Cognac, Saint Emilion (50 kms), Pomerol, Bordeaux.

• Kitchen - fully equipped including oven, microwaves oven, wash machine, hood, refrigerator, freezer

• Bedroom 1 - with a 160cm bed, shower room (shower, wash-hand basin)

First Floor :

• Bedroom 2 - with a 160cm bed and a large dressing room
• Bathroom - with double basin and toilet
• Bedoom 3 - with 3 x 90cm bunk beds
• Bedroom 4 - with a 160cm bed, a shower room, a toilet and a dressingroom
• Separate toilet
• Shower room - with shower and wash-hand basin
• Bedroom 5 - with a 160cm bed
• Bedroom 6 - with 3 x 90cm bunk beds
• Living room - large area with a big fireplace, satellite TV and home cinema sound and DVD player.

• Bedroom 8 - single (  1 x 90 cm) and with 2 baby beds.
• Shower room - with shower and wash-hand basin

• Saint Aulaye (8 Km), market on Saturdays mornings
• Aubeterre (12 Km), market on Sundays mornings.

Places to visit:

• Aubeterre sur Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France, monolithic church, all facilities, river beach, restaurants, outside market, ... 10 Kms
• 50 Km from vineyards of Cognac.
• 50 Km from vineyards of Saint-Emilion, the vineyard and the landscapde are listed by the UNESCO as World Heritage. Just a handful of wonderful highlights are honoured by such a distinction. Visit, stay and taste this unique, extraordinary area.
• Brantôme: 120 Km Brantome is an attractive town near the northern edge of the Dordogne department, sometimes known as the Venice of the Dordogne - the town has a nice mix of medieval and renaissance architecture to admire.

It is above all the situation of Brantome on the river Dronne, that encircles a large part of the town, and the steep wooded slopes around the town, that add most to its attraction - the river is calm an gentle at this point, covered with lilies, and sheltered by weeping willows - it is very pleasant to walk along the edge of the river and through the gardens. ...

Canoes can be hired at Brantome for a relaxing glide along the river (a favourite with adults and children). Brantôme market day is Friday

• Canoë kayak : at 100m, David will welcome you with his cheerfulness and can guide you in your discovery of the region, and to Aubeterre (15 km)
• There is a gorgeous river beach at the foot of Aubeterre and swimming, canoeing and related activities take place from there.
• Tennis : at Parcoul (2 Km), at Saint-Aulaye (8 Km)
• Riding school : le Massou at Bonnes (10 Km)
• Golf : Echourgnac (12 Km) ; Pillac (20 Km)
• Circuits of hikes and mountain bike.
