Hameau de Rachinette, a peaceful hamlet in Les Sept Vallées, is secluded, yet within easy reach of all amenities and many places of interest.

Originally from England, Trevor and Jackie have lived in the area for 5 years. Alongside their traditional french farmhouse, they offer a detached, self contained gite to visitors of this unspoiled farming region.

Poppy Lodge is our comfortable and tranquil detached holiday cottage offering superb self catering accommodation for up to 5 people, with an outdoor private decked terrace. A further terraced area and swimming pool are available, shared with your hosts.

Accommodation detail

Poppy Lodge is a detached holiday cottage and comprises of the following:

Ground floor

• Hallway - entrance to cottage
• Kitchen / lounge / dining room - an open plan room. The lounge area has two comfy leather sofas, TV with british satellite channels, radio/CD player and a small library of books and music CDs. The corner kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. The dining area has a round table with 4 dining chairs.
• Shower room - is fully tiled with a shower cubicle, basin, WC, heated towel rail and washing machine.

First floor

• Bedroom 1 - has a king sized bed and single bed
• Bedroom 2 - has a double bed

There are radiators in all rooms and heating is included in the rental price from October to May.

Outside

There is a private decked terrace. A further terraced area and swimming pool are available, shared with your hosts.

About the location

Hameau de Rachinette, a peaceful hamlet in Les Sept Vallées, is secluded, yet within easy reach of all amenities and many places of interest.

We are 40 minutes from long golden sandy beaches of Le Touquet, Berck and Merlimont or the pebble beaches of St. Valery and Le Crotoy. 10 mins drive from Hesdin with its beautiful Spanish square, traditional weekly market, brasseries and restaurants. The walled city of Montreuil-sur-Mer, once home to Victor Hugo and the setting for Les Miserables, is a 20 minute drive.

However, you could spend a happy week just exploring Les Sept Vallées region.
