These luxurious villas, both with private swimming pools are located 800 meters from the Atlantic coast and 2.5km from the sea-side resort Les Sables d'Olonne renowned for its sandy beaches. The villas are ideally situated on beautifully landscaped grounds in the town of Le Château d'Olonne where you will find all the necessary amenities, not to mention a wide range of activities and attractions available in the area.

On the site you may rent  the tennis court or bicycles or take advantage of the bowl's pitch, ping pong tables and children's play ground. A fine dining restaurant and a snack bar are on the premises for your convenience.

Spend the day relaxing pool side, or on the beach, practising water sports (sailing, boating, wind surfing, surfing, jet skiing...) or golf, visit the marshes, theme parks (ex. Puy du Fou), the list is endless and visitors of all ages spend an unforgettable holiday in La Vendée.

About Chateau D'Olonne in Vendée, Pays de La Loire

The long beach facing south is the most renowned in La Vendée. Les Sables d'Olonne is a sailing capital and hosts La Vendée Globe, a legendary round the world solo sailing race. It also offers a marina that lodges more than a thousand boats. The city provides good amenities and has a long stretch of fine sandy beach, beach clubs for children, pine forest, thalassotherapy, casino, golf, horse back riding and more. The seafront promenade, between city and beach is lively throughout the year.

The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities including walking and cycling paths through marsh lands and forests and there are many churches, abbeys, and castles to visit.

How To Get To Chateau D'Olonne in Vendée, North West France

The property is approximately 40kms south west of La Roche sur Yon and 100 kms south west of Nantes.

Plane:

  • Nantes airport (approx. 100kms). La Rochelle airport (approx. 90kms).

Train:

  • TGV (high speed train) train station in Les Sables d'Olonne (approx. 6kms)

Road:

  • Autoroute exit "La Roche sur Yon" (direction Bordeaux). The property is located about 40kms south west of La Roche sur Yon.

  • Arrivals between 4pm and 5pm, departure before 10am.
  • A 30%, non-refundable deposit is required on booking, the balance is to be paid in 6 weeks before arrival.
  • The booking fee is €30.
  • A €400 security deposit is to be given on arrival and is refunded following departure provided that no damage or breakages have been made during your stay.
  • Bed linen hire is mandatory:€14 per person and per change (if needed).
  • House cleaning service is also mandatory: €115. Holiday tax: .40 cts per night (> 12 years).
  • Minimum booking 4 nights except for the period between June 2nd and September 26th  2012 (Saturday to Saturday).
