Located near world famous St Emilion, it is surrounded by vines, picturesque countryside, beautiful villages and churches. It is perfectly situated for exploring Bordeaux and its coast but only 10 minutes drive to the Dordogne River and 5 minutes from a lake side man-made beach.

This large property comfortably accommodates up to 8 people and 2 babies. The accommodation comprises a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with an attached 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom apartment. As a result there are 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms and the garden has several areas ideal for living “al-fresco”.

The house has recently been renovated throughout to a very high standard with new kitchens, bathrooms, cable TV, wireless internet connection etc. It is furnished using simple but elegant country antiques & fittings.

About the location

The cosmopolitan city of Bordeaux with airport is conveniently located 1 hour from the property, as is Bergerac, a historic town with airport.

Castillion la Bataille - the local historic town is only 10 minutes away and has several bars and restaurant. These are a full range of shops and a large twice weekly street market. The surrounding countryside consists of vines, picturesque wine chateaux and beautiful villages and churches.

St Emilion - The medieval wine city that is the jewal in the crown of the region is only 10 minutes from the property. The medieval masterpiece of Saint Emilion’s ancient square is surrounded by cafes and restaurants.

Villefranche-de-Lonchat - A pretty man made beach complex can be found 20 minutes drive away.

Lac de Caddie - man-made beach on a pretty local lake - 5 mins away
 
Ste. Foy-la-Grande - Has a colourful street market every Saturday - 20 mins away
 
Domme - A mountain village on the Dordogne River - 2 hours drive
 
Sarlat - The superb golden medieval city with its nearby world famous Neolithic remains and cave paintings at Lascaux - 2 hours drive
