La Bastide de Ménerbes is an authentic Bastide du XVIII, ideally located in the heart of the Luberon 800m from the village center. Exceptional environment, steeped in history, quiet but close to all amenities.

La Bastide de Ménerbes symbolizes all the wonderful attractions of the charming villa. Completely renovated, decoration and very comfortable. Friendly at will, it will allow you to gather with family and friends (14 people-300 m2 - 7 bedrooms - 5 bathrooms). The arrangement of rooms and terraces, allows everyone to have large common areas and to preserve his privacy.

You will be seduced by its lush garden, 1ha planted with olive and fruit trees.: You can pick and prepare delicious fruit cake!

Several terraces, sun exposure, or exquisitely shaded, will offer several places of relaxation and conviviality, with breathtaking views of the Luberon
A large swimming pool 10 X 5 will welcome you after one of the many walks to nearby villages.
Finally, a property manager will be there to welcome you and make your stay more enjoyable. Specific services on demand: chef, cook, baby sitter, housekeeper, cooking classes ...

Holiday Accommodation at La Bastide de Ménerbes

The house extends on 3 levels.

At the principal level, there is an entrance hall, off of which you will find:

  • A large kitchen
  • A dining room with feature fireplace
  • A double bedroom
  • A utility room
  • The living room, which leads out on the swimming pool.

At the lower level, you will find:

  • A family suite
  • Another bedroom 

Lastly, at the higher level, a staircase serves:

  • The mezzanine
  • A double bedroom
  • Second family suite 

There are 7 terraces, which 4 terraces to have lunch or dinner .

Serenity in the room Dolce Vita,  (bed 140) with views of Luberon Mountains. Adjoins a bathroom with italian shower, all marble stone.

Romantic Night in Montmartre suite,(bed 160) overlooking the orchard and external acces to a small terrace. A children's room, 2 beds (90+120) is attached, and a bathroom and toilet. Flat screen DVD satellite channel.

Charming old room in Deauville, (bed 160), overlooking the forest, and bathroom with italian shower and toilet.

Dream in color for the Moulin Rouge room, (bed 160) leading to the beautiful flowered garden. Adjoining a children's room,  (bed 90) and a marble stone bathroom. Flat screen DVD satellite channel.

the Luberon region is fantastic: the light is more beautiful than anywhere else: a lot of artists have taken up residence: Picasso, Matisse ..., the landscapes are all a delight to the eyes, you will eat fruits and vegetables unlike anything you've ever tasted.

Ménerbes Why?
Ménerbes is a beautiful little perched village in Luberon, in medieval character, situated opposite the Monts de Vaucluse. Ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, Ménerbes offers numerous examples of its rich past. The Dolmen of Pichouno shows that the town was inhabited since prehistoric times, excavations have also uncovered the remains of Roman villas of the period.
Ménerbes is a small authentic village, you enjoy a walk on foot to discover its narrow streets and stone houses, its monuments. At the top of the village you can admire the magnificent scenery venues.
The environment of the Bastide is exceptional, full of history, quiet but close to all amenities. You can go buy bread or go to dinner at the restaurant on foot.

We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at la Bastide de Ménerbes – we loved the bright colours in the house, the paintings and photos, all the little panels in the kitchen, the tiles in the yellow bathroom.... We also loved the dining room and particularly the wicker chairs with leather seats – these were amazingly comfortable.

The house is in a perfect location and was lovely and quiet – so we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday enjoying the pool and jacuzzi. Thank you again

We spent a wonderful holiday. The house is adorable and we felt very much at home. it's very comfortable and we loved the style, pictures, and appreciated the comfort, the spa, the equipment.

Menesbes is a lovely village and we hope to return with friends on summer holidays to enjoy the swimming pool.

We were a group of 11 adults with 2 babies and had a wonderful holiday. The most positive aspects were:

  • Attractive and comfortable rooms and living areas
  • Well stocked kitchen and outside BBQ area
  • Great location just a stroll from the town
  • Help and advice from Herve during our stay

The only negative feedback was:

  • With babies, the upstairs bedroom was tricky to access up steep stairs
  • The guests in the upstairs double and twin rooms had to climb the steep stairs to get to the nearest loo
  • The roof in the living room and 2 bedrooms leaked after heavy rainfall - we were lucky that our valuables were not damaged.

Additional price information

Dinner can be provided on arrival, if you want. It's also possible to have a chief to prepare lunch or dinner.

To reserve the bastide the client should pay a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total rent due, and the balance 6 weeks before the beginning of the renting.

A security deposit of 1500 EUR is required to cover the possibility of damages and breakages.
