18th Century 4 Bedroom Stone Grand Manor House

Beautifully restored 18th century Manor House set in the tranquil valley of a hundred mills on the river Le See', famous for wild salmon and trout fishing.

Very comfortable large house with all modern living facilities. We will make you feel very welcome and if you have any special requests we will do our best to cater for them.

 

Holiday Accommodation at Manor House

Built in 1755 and set in the valley of a hundred mills on the banks of the river Le See'. The manor has a courtyard and a large walled garden.

The property has been completely restored to a very high standard with good quality furniture. Accommodation comprises:

  • A large lounge with three windows giving a feeling of light and space. There is a Inglenook fireplace with log burner.
  • A large seperate dining room with fireplace and good quality china.
  • A kitchen with all you will ever need for your french cooking skills, granite worktops.
  • Four large bedrooms, two bedrooms with en suite.
  • A family bathroom

Garden furniture for your use and games provided for children.

About Bellefontaine in Manche, Normandy

The Manor Le Pre Aux Reine is approx 4km from the town of Sourdeval. There is a market, which is held every Tuesday morning as well as banks, restaurants, supermarkets, chemist, many bakers and everything that you would need.

There is an abundance of history in the area including the beaches of the D Day landing, the ancient town of Bayeux, where you can see the famous Bayeux Tapestry. The Great Cathedral of the Mont St Michel is within easy reach and it is less than an hour away from the beautiful beaches of the west coast.

How To Get To Bellefontaine in Manche, North West France

Travelling to the house

  • Portsmouth to Caen, then an hours drive to the house
  • Dover to Calais or Bologne then the drive to the house is approx 3 hours and 30 mins
  • Dinard Airport, flying with Ryan Air, takes 1 hour and 5 mins flight time. The drive from the airport is approx 1 hour 30 mins
