This 18th century Maison de Maitre and attached 16th century barn have been fully restored into a luxury farmhouse. Space and light abound, exposed stonework and oak beams. Situated on a ridge with views of the Pyrenees, vineyards and rolling countryside.

Inside, the renovated property has kept many period features and offers luxury accommodation for up to 16 people.

• Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with beautiful stone work and gascoigne fireplace. The kitchen boasts a range cooker and the dining area has a farmhouse oak table. Mod cons include plasma tvs  including 42in flatscreen LCD TV and wifi access.

About the location

Situated between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Coast, this area is an ideal place to explore the local countryside. Gascoigne is the gourmet heart of France.

We are located in the heart of the St Mont wine region and next door to Armangac country. Plenty of places to try the local tipples with Foie Gras farmed all around.

Lourdes is only a 40 min drive away.

The Atlantic coast is only 1 hr 40 mins away to Hossegor, the Mecca for surfing in Europe. Glitz and Glamour at nearby Biarritz with its boutiques and seaside restaurants.

Bordeaux with its surrounding wine area is a wonderful day trip.

Only 1 hr 30 and you could be on the ski slopes in winter. Picture perfect Pistes. Visit La Mongie/Tourmalet. At the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains the Domaine du Tourmalet is the largest resort in the French Pryenees.
