One shower room includes a shower cubicle, WC, wash basin and bidet; the second shower room includes a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. About St Romain De Benet in Charente-Maritime, Poitou Charentes

We are very near to Royan and it's beaches, La Rochelle and Cognac and also within driving distance of Bordeaux, Bergerac and Poitiers airports. We are also about a five hour drive from Cherbourg and a little over four hours from St Malo and Caen.

Royan: 15km

Along the appropriately named "Côte de Beauté", is the fashionable, bustling resort of Royan with its sandy beaches and abundance of chic boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bars along the seafront.

Saintes: 20km

The city of Saintes is more than two thousand years old and is situated on the River Charente, in the heart of the Cognac Vine Growing area. Today, Saintes is a centre of culture and tourism. It has wide-ranging heritage to offer visitors who come to enjoy incomparable atmosphere in a town that has something of the Mediterranean, although it lies almost on the shores of the Atlantic. Cognac: 65km

The town of Cognac, World famous for its eau-de-vie produced in renowned distilleries including Martell, Courvoisier and Hine. Cognac is also well known for its old town, with narrow winding streets and old houses. The Cognac area is rich and varied with so much to offer, from horse riding, off-road driving, golf and rambling to watersports, with the Atlantic Ocean close by. Cognac is also a festival town, with a reputation growing from year to year:
