Large Detached Stone Farmhouse with Pool Near Mayenne

A 200 year old stone built farmhouse with original oak beams set in a acre of enclosed private grounds with swimming pool. The property is located in a rural setting on the borders of Normandy/Mayenne, and just 2kms from the village of Desertines.

Holiday Accommodation at Le Clottin

Accommodation at Le Clottin comprises:

  • 2 double bedroom and a cot
  • A triple bedroom with a double and single bed
  • A childrens bedroom with one set of bunk beds and three single beds, and a double sofa bed. Recently refurbished.
  • A large spacious lounge with a wood-burning stove and french windows and original beams. 
  • A light and airy kitchen, recently refurbished and fully equipped. There are also french windows. Large farmhouse kitchen table seating 10 with enough crockery, cutlery and glasses to go round and unbreakable glasses for use on the patio.  
  • Two shower rooms, one with baby bath/changing facilities.
  • A large, well equipped games room with table tennis and pool table together with board games and toddlers toys, located on the ground floor. This room has been recently fully refurbished and now has access via french windows to the garden. 

PLEASE NOTE

Although the property is large, and accommodates up to 12 smaller groups can be accommodated on a pro rata basis.

About Desertines in Mayenne, Pays de La Loire

The small local village is just 2kms away and has two bars, one of which is the local Tabac, a boulangerie and a small mini-market and hairdressers. The large town of Gorron is 8kms away and has two supermarkets, patisserie, boulangeries, a choice of restaurants, small cinema and a weekly market and the local tourist information office.

How To Get To Desertines in Mayenne, North West France

The property is 17 km north of Mayenne.

By Plane: The nearest airports are at Dinard and Rennes

By Ferry: The ports of St.Malo and Caen are within 2 hours drive and the port of Le Havre is about 2 ½  hours away. Cherbourg and Dieppe are also within 4 hours drive.
