Where is it

Mayenne
 

Your modern, but traditional 3 bedroom apartment is set in a park of 7 acres much of which is landscaped. You can explore the tranquility by walking around the 2 acre lake or sit and watch the carp. Others might wish to paint in our "Standing Stone" field or just relax in the orchard.

This is a modern, first floor apartment with traditional french beams, with its own independent entrance.

About the location

Between the ancient towns of Lassay les Chateaux and Javron, on the D33. There is a large choice of restaurants in Mayenne, Bagnoles and Lassay, which each town has one or more markets in a week.

The area is rural and peaceful making driving a pleasure, so Le Mans and Bayeux are within comfortable driving distance. From April to September there are a variety of events taking place from Vide Greniers (car boot sales) to larger fetes and pageants. There also many chateaux within an easy drive and the French National Stud is one of several equestrian sites of interest.

Ports: Cherbourg/Ouistreham/Dieppe 2hrs. Boulogne/Calais 4-5 hrs (mainly motorway). 

Airports: Dinard airport 2 hrs. Paris airports 4 hrs.
