This spacious well appointed alpine Chalet was completed just over 2 years ago and is situated in a peaceful setting of outstanding beauty. Ideal for all year holidays in the French Alps, sleeping 10/12 comfortably. Suitable for large families, 3 generations or joint family holidays.

The Grand Massif skiing area is just 3 minutes away, with the historic town of Samoens only 5 mins away. Geneva is under an hour away.

Lovely mountain walks are accessible from the Chalet, including the one hour walk to Samoens, either along the valley side or along the river, followed by a reviving drink the the pretty market square.

This luxurious chalet was completed just over 2 years ago with beautiful natural wood walls and ceilings, with tiled floors and carpeted Mezzanine. Comfortably accommodating 10/12 people, the chalet boasts modern high quality fittings and furnishings throughout. Accommodation is arranged over three floors and comprises:

The Rez de Jardin (Garden Level)

• A Family/TV/Games room
• A kitchen with dining area
• A double bedroom
• Shower room
• Laundry room.

The Middle Floor

• Sitting room with 2 sets of doors to balcony and wood burning stove
• Kitchen with dining area
• Main double bedroom with ensuite bath
• A shower room
• Separate WC.

The Mezzaine Level

• 3 double bedrooms
• 2 bathrooms (one with shower)
• Mezzanine area for relaxing, with sofa bed suitable for 2 children.

Outside

The balconies face south as does the large terrace both with superb views of the Giffre Valley. Parking and garage accommodate 4 cars easily.

About the location

Chalet Samburu is about 50 minutes from Geneva by road, via Cluses or Taninges. There is a very effecient bus service from Geneva Airport to Taninges, which is inder 10 minutes from the Chalet.

The local peaceful village of Verchiax has bars and restaurants and a rapidly expanding Boulangerie. The local supermarket is 3-4 minutes away, with the beatiful historic town of Samoens 5 minutes by car. Samoens with it's very pretty square has a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and budgets.

The nearest ski lifts, accessing the 265k of skiing in the Grand Massif, are 3 minutes away and are clearly visible from the Chalet.

How to get here

Chalet Samburu is about 50 minutes drive from Geneva airport, via Cluses or Taninges. If you are driving from Calais, it takes 7-8 hours depending on the number of stops. There are plenty of lovely places to stay on the, particularly in Champagne country.

There is an excellent bus service from Geneva airport to nearby Taninges, which is under 10 minutes from the Chalet.
