Beautiful Garden Gite with Private Heated Pool in Stunning Setting

This peaceful secluded garden apartment created from an old stone barn was new for 2009/10. There is a private, shaded decking / dining area and solar heated pool. Situated within a quiet and secluded rural location and enjoying wooded views, the property is near to all amenities and there are plenty of places to visit and activities to enjoy locally.

The apartment is wheelchair friendly, with a ramp up to the 10m x 5m  pool which is exclusively for our guests. Facilities include UK TV and wifi.

Holiday Accommodation at La Petite Grange

The new apartment, new in 2009/10, comprises:

  • Two en-suite bedrooms, one with wetroom shower designed with wheelchair access in mind. Ideal for two couples sharing. Each double bedroom is separated by kitchen and living areas. The bedrooms each have an extra single bed. Cot available with cotton bedding on request.
  • Fully equiped kitchen.
  • Spacious sitting room with seating for 7/8, dining table and 6 chairs
  • Outside dining areas with barbecue area. 

Outside

There is a large garden with trees providing shady corners. Room to practice your golf swing!

Beautiful pool area with decking, sun loungers and parasols provided. Pool games (volleyball, water polo, etc) provided. Pool is uni-depth, perfect for swimming, approx 1.45 metres in depth. Pool size 10m x 5m with solar heating.

About Queyssel in Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine

La Petite Grange is ideally situated for access to local Bastide market towns and wine growing chateaux. It is peacefully situated in beautiful countryside but only about 4 kms from the local town of Lauzun, which has a boulangerie, boucherie, small supermarket  and restaurant/bar. The town of Eymet is 9 kms away and Castilliones and Miramont approximatelly 12 kms. These three all hold traditional weekly markets and are well supplied with restaurants and shops. Historic Bergerac on the Dordogne river is within easy reach as are many other historical sites. Golfers are well provided for and there are local pleasure lakes with sandy beaches.

How To Get To Queyssel in Lot-et-Garonne, South West France

We are 25 mins from Bergerac Airport and 1 hour 40 mins from Bordeaux. St Malo is about 6 - 7 hours drive from us and we are about 4 hours drive from Bilbao.

We had a fantastic week in a lovely apartment - very well equipped and to a high standard. Couldn't believe how well the fridge was stocked! Perfect hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Great golf, restaurants and markets within easy reach. Will go back!

First of all a really big thank you to Jo and William - what superb hosts - totally discreet but there if you needed them. Both very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and very friendly people. The best four weeks we have ever spent in France. The gite is outstanding, everything was provided. It has the best HEATED pool and the views were heavenly. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are some gorgeous towns and villages to visit.

Wonderful relaxing week. - great to do nothing. Pool fantastic, lots of extras for Matthew (9) to play with. Very well thought out and interior everything you could wish for. A very warm welcome from Jo and William. Hope to see you next year for two weeks so many places to go and visit, and still have plenty of time to just relax and chill around the pool.

Thank you for a very enjoyable week. We enjoyed our week in your wonderful gite. Yours was the twelfth house we had rented in France and we have always found lovely ones, but yours was probably the best equipped we have stayed in. You seem to have thought of everything and it was so nice to have such good quality bedding and towels. It is obvious that you have put a lot of thought and care into the renovation and the interior design to make it such a comfortable place to stay. Thank you also for providing such an extensive range of provisions in the fridge.

The area is renowned for its bird life - hoopoes are regular summer visitors and kingfishers are often seen on the local river walks. Deer are sometimes seen running from the sunflower fields.  Buzzards and kestrels lazily climbing on hot air thermals are a common sight.
