Holiday Cottage with private pool Overlooking the River Lot, Aveyron

Incabriere is a stone cottage set into the hillside overlooking the Lot Valley and within 5 minutes drive of the picturesque village of Le Fel. The house has a balcony leading to the swimming pool, which is set in a secluded position with pool loungers to help you soak up the sun. For those wanting to enjoy the pool but sit in the shade there is a sun awning. At the opposite end of the house is a large covered verandah with table, chairs and a built-in barbeque, enabling you to eat outside in the most dramatic surroundings.

Holiday Accommodation at Incabriere

Incabriere is a superb renovated cottage set on the side of the Vallée du Lot. The spectacular views across the valley and of the river hundreds of feet below can be enjoyed from inside the house and from the south facing balcony and pool terrace.

The renovation has ensured that the original features have been retained. The thick granite walls, chestnut beams and large inglenook fireplace give it a real regional feeling and coupled with its modern appliances make it a comfortable house at all times of the year.

The most outstanding feature of this cottage is the large covered balcony where you can eat outside in the most dramatic of surroundings.

About Enguiales in Aveyron, Midi Pyrenees

Incabriere is situated close to Le Fel with its popular Auberge Restaurant or Chez Marinette for more regional cuisine. Montsalvy, ten minutes by car, is a small picturesque walled town where you will find a bakers, butchers, general stores, pharmacy, post office, bank and two very good restaurants. On the outskirts is a small but well-stocked Spar supermarket.

Entraygues is some fifteen minutes drive from the house through the vineyards of Le Fel and has a good selection of family-run shops, restaurants, cafés, post office, bank, pharmacy and a Friday market.

How To Get To Enguiales in Aveyron, South West France

The cottage is located 30 minutes from Aurillac off the D920 in the department of Aveyron in South West France. Driving time from Calais is approximately 10 hours with stops and from Caen approximately 8 hours. Precise directions and details can be supplied on request.

By rail, trains run from Paris in the North or Toulouse in the South to Rodez or Aurillac where car hire is available.

By air, flights from Stansted are daily during July and August and on varying days throughout the rest of the year. Car hire is available at the airport.
