Situated on the edge of the pretty village of St Julien en Born, Villa Fleurie is a traditional villa with large, gated garden and a private, fenced, inground swimming pool, located in a sunny postion with terraces around. There is a shaded alfresco eating area with garden furnture to relax and enjoy the sunshine.   Villa Fleurie is situated approx 2km from the village and approx 5km from the beach and enjoys a quiet position backing onto forest with neighbours at each side.

Holiday Accommodation at Villa Fleurie

Villa Fleurie is a traditional landaise style villa. Accommodation is situated on ground floor level, making for easy access. The internal layout is user friendly with four sets of double doors opening onto terrace with covered outdoor eating area and barbeque. It comprises:

• Three double bedrooms, 2 with ensuite shower rooms and one with ensuite bathroom. The three ensuite bedrooms are situated off a corridor leading from lounge, two of which have their own door leading onto back terrace near pool.
• The kitchen is open plan leading to the:
• Dining area and onto the lounge. There is also:
• A utility room housing washing machine, ironing and drying facilities.

About St Julien En Born in Landes, Aquitaine

St. Julien en Born is a pretty landaise village approx. 5 mins by car or 15 mins approx by bike along level cycle path from Villa Fleurie, with supermarket, restaurants, local shops and Saturday market in village square. There is a larger market every Friday at Mimizan, a 15 min drive north.

This is a truly lovely area set within pine forest reaching down to the beach with its bars, restaurants,  cafes, cinema and lighthouse, beach life at its best, especially the beach bar. There are organised activities for little ones on the beach together with full lifeguard cover during the season for those taking to the waves. The beach is located 5 mins by car or 15 mins by bike along level cycle path. There are several other lovely beaches within close proximity together with the Lac de Leon, a 20 min car ride south, set within forest with picnic areas, beach, swimming, boat hire/trips, cafes and restaurants. Leon also has a large daily market in the centre of town.

For city shopping, Bayonne, Dax and Biarritz are all worth a visit, whilst further south is the green, hilly region of Pays Basque, leading into Spain with San Sebastian also worth visiting.

There is so much to see and do in this area, you really need to book a holiday at Villa Fleurie to see and enjoy it all.

How To Get To St Julien En Born in Landes, South West France

The nearest airport is Biarritz, there are daily flights from London Stansted and there is car hire available at airport. The distance is approx 1,25 hours north on A63/ N10 motorway from airport to Villa Fleurie.  

The other airport is Bordeaux with daily flights from Bristol/Gatwick, there is car hire available at airport.  The distance is 1.5 hours south on A63/N10 motorway from airport to Villa Fleurie.

By rail, travel to Morcenx on main line, from there taxis are available to St. Julien en Born.

By ferry I can offer 10% discount if travelling with Brittany Ferries. The journey from Roscoff to St. Julien en Born is approx 9 hours, an overnight stop is recommended. More detailed directions will be given on booking.
