Location

The Property is situated in a quiet village in Deux Sevres, about 10 kilometres from the small towns of Melle and St. Maixent L'Ecole. Amenities consist of : two boulangeries, a patisserie, two butchers, a pizzeria, two groceries, three cafe/bars, one of which serves midday meals, and a small hotel, which also serves meals. There is a weekly produce market on Thursday morning in the village square. The area is intensely agricultural and also heavily forested. There are numerous forest walks within easy distance.

There are many restaurants in the nearby towns, and also the locally famed "Les Trois Pigeons" only ten minutes drive away.

Also within each is the Loire Valley, about an hour and twenty minutes by car, Cognac and Rochefort.

The nearest coast is at the port of La Rochelle, about 100 kms distance, the nearest beach resort being Chatelaillon-Plage, just to the South of La Rochelle.

The City of Niort is about 30 kms away, the city of Poitiers is 40 kms.
