Saint Honore is a truly beautiful petit chateau exquisitely furnished with french antiques. Located in the heart of Saint Pierre sur Dives old town, it is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the wonderful produce market held every Monday morning for which the town is famous.

The house is surrounded by a large established garden bordered by a small canal, where you will find a swing/slide set for the children and BBQ facilities. If you desire all the romance of a truly french holiday experience, in sumptuous surroundings with all mod cons, then this is the house for you.

About the location

Saint Honore is located in the picturesque market town of Saint Pierre Sur Dives, which has a lively regional produce market each Monday morning. There are several good restaurants and many shops within walking distance (within 500m) as well as a monthly antiques market, which is also held in the ancient medieval hall (11th Century) for which the town is famous. The house enjoys views of the magnificent Saint Pierre Abbey, parts of which date back to the 12th Century. 
 
The house is approx 30 minutes from the coast where there are many picturesque coastal towns (such as Honfleur) as well as D Day war museums and memorial sites to visit. Saint Pierre sur Dives provides an excellent base in Normandy from which to explore famous tourist attractions such as the stunning Mont St Michel and Monet's garden at Giverny.
There are many other very special chateaux and gardens also worth visiting in Normandy, which is blessed with fertile land and a climate that makes it the premier region for notable french gardens.
 
The historic town of Falaise and home to William the Conqueror is approximately 20 mins away by car. William's fortified castle overlooks the town centre.

Saint Honore is located in Saint Pierre sur Dives, which is well placed for visitors traveling from Paris CDG, UK ferry ports or by road.

Most of the ferry departures from the UK to Normandy leave from Southhampton or Portsmouth. Other ferries also depart from Dover.
