La Vieille Grange is a 200 year old barn of a style typical to the Lot et Garonne region. Imaginatively renovated to combine comfort and spaciousness with rustic charm and accommodation for up to 8 people. 

The barn is situated in an acre of lawn and fruit trees overlooking plum orchards with magnificent panoramic views from the large, private, walled swimming pool area.

Guests are guaranteed calm and tranquillity all year round - just perfect for a relaxing short break, a romantic honeymoon, a stress-free house-hunting trip or a much-needed, longer holiday.

Holiday Accommodation at La Vieille Grange

The property has ample accomodation for 8 adults which comprises:

  • 4 double bedrooms (2 with en-suite bathrooms and 2 sharing a 'Jack & Jill' en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe.)
  • Fully equipped country kitchen and large dining room
  • Spacious living room with double-height atrium and open fireplace
  • Galleried mezzanine with library and 2nd sitting room area

Outside

  • Large covered terrace at the front of the barn for al fresco dining
  • 2nd south-facing terrace with wisteria-hung pergola for lunching in the sun (This terrace overlooks the idyllic countryside & walled swimming pool area.)

Additional Information
 

  • The barn uses the latest geo-thermic under-floor heating so is warm all year round.
  • At Christmas, the barn is fully decorated and has a Christmas tree
  • There is a cot, high chair and baby's bath seat if required
  • Linen and indoor towels are provided as part of the rental charge, guests are requested to bring their own beach towels.

About Moulinet in Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine

Our property is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Moulinet, which is in the heart of the Lot et Garonne countryside. Surrounded by fruit orchards and rolling hills, the area is a haven of calm and tranquility.

The nearest amenities are in the town of Cancon, which is 3.5km away. Here you can find most things you need including: post office, doctor, pharmacy, bakery, tabac, superette, grocers and a few small restaurants.

There are some very pretty medieval villages in the region including Monflanquin and Pujols, which are both officially recognised as being among "The most beautiful villages in France".

How To Get To Moulinet in Lot-et-Garonne, South West France

Moulinet can be found on the D124 half way between Monbahus and Cancon. The closest airport is Bergerac, which is approximately 35km due North and takes about 45 mins by car. If you intend to hire a car during your stay you can do so at the airport. 

You can also take the train to Villeneuve-sur-lot or Agen and then hire a car.

1. After we receive your booking form, we will send you an email requesting payment of a non-refundable securing deposit of 30% of the rental price. 
 
2. The remaining balance is to be paid - along with a refundable damages deposit of €250 to cover breakages etc - no later than six weeks prior to the date of arrival.
