Chalet La Giettaz is a recently-refurbished development of 10 self-contained boutique apartments, with private on-site spa and bar complex, located in the beautiful Alpine village of La Giettaz, just a short drive from Megève, La Clusaz, Annecy, Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc Valley.

Situated in one large chalet, all of our spacious apartments benefit from spectacular views across the valley, and have been comfortably furnished with a touch of luxury to provide restful and welcoming accommodation in a beautiful mountain setting.

The local area offers a fantastic range of year-round mountain activities, with fabulous skiing in winter and a huge selection of routes for walking, cycling, mountain biking and other summer outdoor activities on our doorstep.

The apartments have either two double/twin bedrooms, or one double/twin room and one room with adult-size bunkbeds. Some apartments offer en-suite bath or shower-rooms.

Living Area/Kitchen

Balconies or terraces with breathtaking views over the La Giettaz valley. Sofa-bed in the lounge to sleep up to 6 people in total. Ipod dock, televisions and fully fitted-kitchen with dishwasher, as well as private walk-in storage room for sports equipment and luggage.

About the location

La Giettaz is a beautiful rustic village that is rightly proud of its traditional mountain lifestyle. Surrounded by fabulous Alpine scenery, visitors here cannot fail to be charmed by the relaxed pace of life and friendly locals: you are staying in a real village, not a resort. There is a delightful selection of local restaurants and bars in the centre of the village, serving traditional mountain cuisine, at some of the best-value prices in the area.

The glitz and glamour of Megève, or the family-friendly fun of La Clusaz, are both easily reached by car. Annecy, with its beautiful medieval centre and stunning lakeside location, is also less than an hour's drive away.

A trip to any of these becomes all the more of a treat when you know you are returning to the secluded beauty of La Giettaz!

How to get here

The nearest airport is Geneva, which is around 80km away and is very well served by flights from across the UK. Lyon airport is around 160km from the Chalet. France's excellent TGV network serves Annecy in around 3 hours from Paris. La Giettaz is roughly 800km from Calais.
