PEACE AND TRANQUILITY. Set in beautiful countryside only 3 minutes from Lalinde and the river Dordogne, Domaine de Leygue is a converted farm with more than 4 acres of manicured gardens and lawns. There are four 1 bed cottages, non of which overlook each other, and 2 swimming pools exclusively for adults to ensure total peace and relaxation. All the cottages are furnished and equipped to extremely high standards, such as Villeroy & Boch china and Guy Degrenne cutlery, to ensure your holiday is memorable for all the right reasons.

Holiday Accommodation at The Field House

The most luxurious and spacious of all our cottages. The Field House enjoys:

A large, beamed living room furnished with specially made Directoire furniture in gleaming cherry wood, which provides a fitting companion to the comfortable twin settees and other high quality furniture pieces throughout.

The bedroom features a luxury superking-size bed with ‘zip & lock’ facility, which allows it to be separated into two single beds if preferred. The room also benefits from large fitted wardrobes, cherry wood furniture and fine linen. There is ample storage space for your belongings and for your suitcases to be hidden from view during your stay.

The en-suite bathroom incorporates a bath as well as a shower, ‘his and hers’ wash basins, toilet and bidet and heated towel rail.

There is a separate kitchen – fully equipped and complete with dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside

As well as a main door leading from the private car park, there are French windows opening on to the wide, south-facing veranda with its superb views across the adjoining countryside. The veranda is fully furnished to make the most of outdoor living.

About Lalinde in Dordogne, Aquitaine

Once a small farm, Domaine de Leygue (pronounced 'Laig') is situated in rolling green countryside just outside the pretty village of Bourniquel, with peace and tranquility all around. Just two miles from here is the town of Lalinde on the Dordogne River. Lalinde has all the shops and facilities you're likely to need. Also there's an abundance of lovely restaurants in the nearby villages.

Bergerac is only a 30 minute beautiful drive from here along the river.

How To Get To Lalinde in Dordogne, South West France

By Air - Domaine de Leygue is situated off a quiet country lane, 2 minutes drive south east from Lalinde. Bergerac airport is a 25 minute drive from here served by the low-cost airlines from the UK with the Bordeaux International airport less than 2 hours away by car.

By Car - Depending whether you prefer quiet country roads or autoroutes, we can be easily reached from the channel ports in 8-9 hours.

By Train - Bordeaux is the main-line station from where you can then take the local train to Bergerac and on to Lalinde.
