This stylish and truly lovely apartment is on two floors, the ground and first floor, in an old merchant's house in the centre of medieval Dinan. The entrance is from a sloping cobbled pedestrian street, famous around the world for its medieval houses, with reserved parking opposite.

It is full of period detail and has a private courtyard. The master bedroom is furnished with a delightfully romantic four poster bed.

Holiday Accommodation at La Maison Blanche

La Maison Blanche is a unique apartment and feels singularly French from the moment you open the door. The house is full of period detail, with high ceilings allowing a sense of space and light. The apartment has original French windows in every room and is centrally heated in winter. Thick stone walls keep the apartment cool in summer and it has its own private courtyard surrounded by high walls, perfect for relaxing alfresco.

This attractive apartment comprises:

  • A beautiful sitting room with period fireplace.
  • The spacious kitchen leads directly onto the courtyard and is next to:
  • A dining area for up to four people.

An open spiral staircase climbs from the ground to the first floor.

  • The spacious and well appointed master bedroom captures the full morning sun and is furnished with French style. It has a very comfortable four poster, king-sized bed.
  •  The single bedroom receives the full afternoon and evening sun and is charmingly furnished with French verve. It overlooks a peaceful lawn.
  • The bathroom has all the usual conveniences, including a long bath with shower over.

About Dinan in Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany

La Maison Blanche is within medieval Dinan itself and is entered from a sloping cobbled pedestrian street, famous around the world for its medieval houses, with reserved parking a few steps away. It is convenient for restaurants, bakeries, shops, markets and the many historical attractions the town has to offer, all on foot.

Just down the hill is the historic river port which offers more restaurants, boat trips and glorious riverside walks. An open-air swimming pool is an easy 15 minute walk away. Bicycles are for hire in the town. Within a 20 minute drive the spectacular coast has wonderful walking and golden beaches.

How To Get To Dinan in Côtes-d'Armor, North West France

Car: La Maison Blanche is easy to travel to by car with Brittany Ferries to St Malo (30 minutes drive). 

Fly: Go car free to Rennes (1 hour by taxi) or Dinard (30 minutes by taxi) Airports.

Train: Arrive by train (5 minutes by taxi).
