Attractive Self Catering Villa with Private Garden and Pool in South Loire

Maison de Maitre....The Master's House. Built in the 1850's and renovated in 2006. The house retains many of its original features, whilst offering all modern facilities. The property is set in 3.79 hectares and has it's own private garden and pool. There are chickens, cats, one pony, two horses and a dog.

The house can accomodate 8 people. The house retains many of its original features. Tiled floors, tuffeau walls and original beams.

Ground Floor

  • The lounge has ample seating for all occupants and has french windows which open to the front of the property and overlooks the surrounding farmland.

About St Flovier in Indre, Loire Valley

La Bourjonnerie is situated 20 minutes south of the historic town of Loches, (N143) in the South Loire Valley. Wonderful markets on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. We are found between the villages of Fléré la Rivière and St Flovier, and are 7 kms from the rural town of Chatillon-sur-Indre, (D13).

Nearby there are 3 boulangeries only 5 minutes away, and good local restaurants, St Flovier in particular. Freshly made pizzas are available Friday and Saturday evenings. There is an excellent small supermarket in Chatillon-sur-Indre, open on Sunday mornings. Market day is Friday morning.

For the boy racers in you there is a superb kart track just the other side of Chatillon-sur-Indre. 15 kms south you can find the Brenne. A National wild life area, popular with bird watchers. Just 20 mins away is Reserve de la Haute-Touche where you can see animals from five different continents some of them very rare. With so much to see here you can pack a picnic and either stroll round this large site or explore it on your bike. We are close to many of the smaller chateaux of the Loire. One and a half hours from Futuroscope. Only 45 mins from Amboise and Tours. Use our location to explore some of the 'Little Gems of the Loire'.

How To Get To St Flovier in Indre, Central France

The property is located approx 20kms south of Loches. Caen 4hrs, La Harve 4.30hrs, Calais 6hrs, Tours airport 1hr, Poitiers airport 1.30hr and Limoges airport 1.50hr.
