4 bedrooms to sleep 8, set in 8 hectares of open land and forest.

Architect-designed to a high specification with internal balconies and large windows. The natural light, oak beams and detailing gives a feeling of space. The fully-fitted kitchen on the garden level opens onto indoor and outdoor dining areas. The spacious living room is the centrepiece with balconies and the best views. A sophisticated climate control system and electric shutters ensure comfortable temperatures all year. Two wood burning stoves provide winter heat and atmosphere.

The property is secluded, surrounded by extensive land and forest for your use and relaxation. There is lighting for paths and terrace. There are loungers, parasols and shower for the pool terrace, which offers stunning views of the valley and catches the sun all day. Below the new orchard there is a play area. Early in the day you may see deer, woodpeckers and cotton-wool mist rising from the river. At night you will hear owls and see the Milky Way dominating the night sky. All the comforts, in the middle of nature.

  • Orange Bathroom - garden level bath/shower, wc and vanity unit.
  • Strawberry Bathroom - main floor ensuite, with shower, wc and vanity unit.
  • Cream Bathroom - top floor bath/shower, wc and vanity unit.
  • Kitchen/diner garden floor - electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave with dining and lounge areas and wood burning stove
  • Utility room garden floor - washing machine, freezer and storage.
  • Lounge main floor - large central space with sofas, internal/external balconies and wood burning stove.

Outside

There is an exterior terrace with tables and chairs, rattan furniture, parasols and BBQ. Outside lighting for paths and terrace which open onto the property's land and woods.

About La Salvetat Peyrales in Aveyron, Midi Pyrenees

Enjoy the unspoiled Viaur valley, which is perfect for river swimming, walking and mountain biking. Join the network of communal tracks to discover ancient fortresses, abandoned villages and natural habitats.

La Salvetat-Peyralès is the closest village at 5km with bakery, butcher, general store, bars and monthly market. A range of large supermarkets, street markets and restaurants are 20-45 minutes away by car.

Villefranche de Rouergue (bastide town and market), Rodez (shopping, cathedral and museums) and Albi (Tarn capital, incredible cathedral and bishop's palace with Toulouse Lautrec collection) are the nearest large towns. Cordes sur Ciel, Najac, Sauveterre de Rouergue and Belcastel are well worth visiting.

  • All year availability. Changeover day negotiable.
  • Rental rate covers exclusive use of pool and is inclusive of water, electricity, supply of bed linen,  bathroom and pool towels and household cleaning supplies. A list of items supplied is provided on booking to assist with holiday planning.
  • Discounted rate for follow-on week in peak season and for stays longer than 5 nights in mid and low seasons.
  • 10% discount for early booking where booking deposit is received more than 4 months in advance of start of rental.
  • Bookings can be secured on receipt of completed booking form and deposit of 20% of total charge. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Refundable £300 security deposit.
  • To help ensure an excellent holiday, guests can be met at the village on arrival . Owner available for assistance during stay if required.
