About Vigeois in Corrèze, Limousin

Approximately 5km from supermarkets, restaurants and all other amenities, railway station etc.

Situated amidst beautiful unspoilt countryside, ideal for walking, cycling, fishing, horseriding, hot-air ballooning, kayaking, climbing and many other outdoor activities.

The nearby pretty town of Arnac-Pompadour also boasts a beautiful racecourse and chateau with equestrian events almost weekly throughout the year.

There are many other interesting towns and medieval villages on the doorstep with their historical chateaux and churches.

There are many weekly markets where you can buy your fresh produce, or why not try one of the local festivals such as the raspberry fete.

Limoges airport is just an hour away, as is the new airport at Brive.

The Auvergne mountains and volcanoes are just a 2-hour drive away offering walking, skiing and similar activities.

Other 'must-see' places include Rocamadour, the breathtaking Padirac caves, the medieval village of Segur le Chateau, all within easy reach.

This is a region of many lakes and rivers, many with beaches, watersport facilities and children's play areas.

We are located 15 minutes from the main A20 motorway and mainline railway station (with trains to Paris/Toulouse).

Approximately 1 hour south of Limoges ariport, and 40 minutes north of Brive. Car hire available locally.
