Beautifully Restored Farmhouse in Marcilly

Le Mee is situated in a idyllic two acre orchard nestled in the countryside on the Normandy/Brittany borders.

With magnificent views of the Normandy countryside this is perfect for a tranquil retreat, or as a base to explore the region with its tourist attractions ranging from Mont St Michel with its excellent restaurants and un spoilt beaches, to peaceful forests and secluded villages.

The house is situated on the outskirts of the village Marcilly.

Holiday Accommodation at Le Mee

This idyllic restored farmhouse comprises:

• Bedrooms: There are five bedrooms, three double rooms all with en suite shower rooms. One twin room, which has a 4 ft bed and a single bed, with a shower room at the bottom of the stairs, and on the third floor another twin room.
• Kitchen: There is a large kitchen with a granite fireplace and wood burner, the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher.
• Utility room: Next to the kitchen a utility room with washing machine, freezer, hoover, iron and ironing board.
• Lounge: The lounge is 30 ft long and is situated in the centre of the house with French doors opening onto the garden. There are three sofas, a television with sky and a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, a play station 2 with a selection of games, board games, and a hifi stereo, at the other end of the room a beautiful piano.
• Staircase: Leading from the lounge a staircase up to the first floor to where there are two double bedrooms both with spacious en suite shower rooms containing luxury showers with jets, hand basin and WC, along the hallway another staircase leading to the third floor and a large twin room.
• Hallway: Off the lounge there is a large hallway with a good size shower room and a door out onto the garden, also a staircase leading to a double en suite room and a twin room.
• Features: The house is full of features, including original wooden beams and doors and a large granite fireplace in the kitchen.
• Outside: Set in approximately 2 acres of enclosed garden, with an orchard of apples trees and a large grass area. There isa 32 ft swimming pool surrounded by decking and pool furniture, the attached pool house contains an all weather table tennis table, B-B-Q, also a selection of outdoor games for your enjoyment.

Local shops, banks and restaurants can be found in the nearby village of Ducey, which is a five-minute drive away.

The larger town of Avranches is also approximately ten-minutes away.
