Beautiful 4 bedroomed house with private swimming pool set in quiet surroundings located within 10 minutes walk of the village Salvagnac with bakers, grocers, bar and restaurant. Beautiful views towards the Pyrénées from the garden and terrace. Close to Gaillac, Albi and Toulouse.

Le Pessillou is a comfortable, large 4 bedroomed house comprising:

  • There is a large kitchen / dining room - seating 8.
  • A large lounge with beautiful views across the valley from the French windows.
  • There is a large open tiled stair way that could pose a problem for toddlers or frail elderly. However, there is a double bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite which offers its own independent access and patio area - ideal for those with reduced mobility (but not for handicapped) or for teenagers wanting Independence but with full access to the main house.

About Salvagnac in Tarn, Midi Pyrenees

Le Pessillou is situated in a quiet no through road, 10 minutes walk from Salvagnac village. There is a restaurant, bar, bakers, grocers, chemist, all within walking distance. Salvagnac is a quiet village.

Gaillac, the local market town (market is on Fridays) is 15 minutes drive, Rabastens is 15mins away(market here is Saturday mornings). Toulouse which is 45 mins away, Abli 40 min, Montauban 35 min, Narbonne 2 hours and Carcasonne 1.15 hours away.

How To Get To Salvagnac in Tarn, South West France

Toulouse is the nearest airport but in summer there is a service to Rodez and Carcassonne.

By train there is a motor rail to Toulouse. From Toulouse there are trains to Gaillac or Rabastens - and then taxi.

There is good direct motorway access from all ports as far as Montauban (35 mins from Salvagnac).
