Self Catering Accommodation with Swimming Pool in the Lot Region

'Les Valades' stands in 22 acres of maintained gardens, meadows and woodland, and is situated in the Lot department close to the Dordogne border in South Western France.The location is rural and tranquil and the surrounding countryside is gently undulating wood covered hills, green fields with grazing animals, crops of wheat, maize, walnut groves and chestnut trees. There is space, tranquility, sun and shade.

The property is within easy access of the North and South bound A20 routes, and the nearby market town of Gourdon is just 5km away with all the usual facilities.

An entirely self-contained two bedroomed gîte, 'The Annexe', with its own independant access adjoining the main house, is set on two floors. The self catering accommodation, sleeps up to 6 comfortably, and is provided with exclusive use of the pool. 

Nearby activities include ballooning, canoeing, cycling, fishing golf, gourmet dining, wine tasting, horse riding, riverside activities, sight seeing, swimming, aqua park, boule, tennis, tree adventure park, walking, cave diving, cinema and more ........

Near to the departmental boundary of the Dordogne in the centre of the Sarlat, Souillac, and Gourdon triangle. Les Valades is very close to all the major tourist attractions including Rocamadour, La Roque Gageac, Domme, Sarlat and St Cirq la Popie to name, but a few.

Holiday Accommodation at Les Valades/The Annexe

The annexe is suitable for adults and families and we offer exclusivity of the swimming pool during their stay (July/August only). Unless there are young children 7 years or under and non swimmers that deem to be unsupervised at any time during their stay. (We must insist on supervision of little ones around the pool at all times! It is immediately across and very accessible from the Annexe and although superb, covered/uncovered every evening and alarmed it would still be very dangerous from a toddlers point of view!) If there are very little ones staying at 'Les Valades' Madame is quite happy to give a baby sitting type service around the pool during family stays and also an evening or two should it be required.

The accommodation comprise of:

• One family double bedroom comprising of two single beds and one double bed.
• One double bedroom comprising of one double bed with en suite bath and vanity sink plus additional facilities to accommodate up to two furthers adults if required.
• One large family sized bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, underfloor heating and heated towel rails on the ground floor.
• The kitchen is fully fitted with a four ringed gas hob, electric oven, washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge freezer and breakfast bar area.

We are situated near the hamlet of Anglars Nozac on the outskirts of a small town called Gourdon with superb facilities in the Midi Pyrenees Department of France in an area known as the Lot.

Our location is rural and tranquil and the countryside that surrounds us is gently undulating wood covered hills, green fields with grazing animals, crops of wheat, maize, walnut groves and chestnut trees.

We are close to the departmental boundary with the Dordogne in the centre of the Sarlat, Souillac, Gourdon triangle and very close to all major tourist attractions.
