Would you like to experience a little piece of perfection? This is all about sharing our truly delightful holiday house. Our philosophy is to provide for our visitors what we would wish for ourselves. Simply, a sublime home away from home.

Holiday Accommodation at Maison McCann

This delightfully restored 18th century 3 storey maison de village comfortably accommodates 8 people and comprises:

Ground Floor

  • Bedroom - large twin room with own ensuite shower room
  • Utility Room - washer dryer, toilet, drying rack, iron, ironing board, cuboard housing cleaning      products
  • Hall Room - sofa with sleeping facility for overnight guests
  • External Courtyard - shady, stone vaulted, plants, table and chairs, table tennis, barbecue, hammock

First Floor

  • Bedroom - double bedroom with lovely views over the terrace, rooftops and countryside beyond, ensuite bathroom and WC, which can also be accessed from kitchen lobby.
  • Kitchen - eat in, fully equipped open plan provencal kitchen (including well stocked cupboard containing spices, condiments and other goods)
  • Sitting Room - 2 sofas, armchair, large open fireplace, desk, music system, satellite tv and dvd, window overlooking the rooftops of St. Siffret and french doors leading onto:
  • Large Terrace - outdoor eating for 8 people, table, chairs, electrically operated awning over table,  loungers, plants and panoramic views of surrounding countryside

Second Floor

  • Master Bedroom - spacious double bedroom with shared ensuite shower room and it's own private terrace
  • Bedroom - double bedroom with shared ensuite shower room and more superb views!

About St Siffret in Gard, Languedoc Roussillon

The house is located in the old village of St. Siffret with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Tennis courts are a 2 minute drive (or 15 minute jog!) away. The old village boasts a bar and restaurant with a reputation for excellent cuisine.  

Nearby historic Uzes is town of great beauty. Its narrow streets and romantic squares are lined with medieval, renaissance and baroque buildings. The weekly market is one of the best in Provence and there are numerous excellent cafes, restaurants and boutiques.

The surrounding countryside with its vineyards, rivers, hills, gorges, villages, markets, and Ancient Roman sites provide great opportunities for swimming, walking, hiking biking or just touring around.

Easy day trips to the Meditteranean, Avignon, Arles, and Marseilles provide yet more opportunies for swimming, sightseeing and shopping!

The house is 45 minutes by car from both Nimes Airport and the TGV station in Avignon.
