Peaceful Holiday Cottage at the Edge of the Pyrenees

A French farm cottage in the foothills of the majestic Pyrenean mountains. A pretty valley, but not isolated as to be difficult for sightseeing the highlights of the the area. Not far to have tapas in Spain or an evening out in the small town of Lannemezan. Walk the high mountains or just a small part of the route de Campostella. If you love the great out doors, there is everything catered for in the area from rafting to parapenting. If you just want to sit and relax on the veranda with a good bottle of wine and a book. Its a good place to just be.

Holiday Accommodation at Maison Margalide well equipped house

The property comprises:

  • Front door leading into the living area, two sofas, coffee table wood burning stove. TV freeview channels and DVD player. CD music player.
  • The living area leads out onto the south facing covered veranda.
  • Kitchen has one electric hob and three gas rings. Split level oven, extractor fan. Microwave, kettle, coffee making machine and bread oven. Washing machine. Well equipped kitchen with pans etc.
  • Downstairs bathroom with powerful shower with sink and WC. 
  • Stairs from living room lead up to two large double bedrooms one with walk in wardrobe. One looks out to side of property with a view of the river the other has a window out onto the private garden. We are able to make either of the double rooms into twins if requested.
  • There is a small bunk room only suitable for children.
  • The upstairs bathroom has a bath sink and WC.

About Rejaumont in Hautes-Pyrénées, Midi Pyrenees

While being in a rural location. The situation of Maison Margalide is perfect for visiting the mountains and other places of interest, being only five/ten minutes from the main motorway to Toulouse and the two coasts the Mediterranean and Atlantic. The local town Lannemezan is big enough to support some good quality restaurants and bars. Four supermarkets also supply the town. The local market is held on a Wednesday supplying local produce from the region. We have a small but very good hospital, dentists and chemists for every eventuality!!

How To Get To Rejaumont in Hautes-Pyrénées, South West France

We have a train station in the local town of Lannemezan. We do have bike hire mountain/road, but we do suggest you rent a car while staying in the region as some places can be quite inaccessible other than by car.

Tarbes airport is 20 minutes away. Pau 45 minutes and Toulouse approx an hour. The motorway links are excellent.
